Our professional coaches design and base there tennis classes around the students and there abilities, identifying areas they need to work on and targeting these areas in a subtle way whilst still obtaining the fun, bringing an indirect method of learning. Our junior coaching program has 5 levels - Beginner Jnr Red / Intermediate Jnr Orange / Advance Jnr Green and Pro Jnr Yellow moving on to Interclub elite level classes. Groups have a maximum of 6-8 players per coach.  Every child is guaranteed experienced coaching and a positive outcome form their tennis.

Beginners/Intermediate (Non Interclub Players)

Red (5-8 years) Red tennis balls bounce lower and move more slowly through the air, giving beginning players a chance to set up and take a good swing at the ball.

Designed programs to suit the age of your child starting out, classes are typically 30 to 45min's long for ages 5-6yrs, we develop your child's motor skills, hand eye coordination, movement, ball and racket skills that are necessary in order to learn all the fundamentals to start playing tennis. Ages 7-8 work on the same fundamentals typically 1Hr in length, the end goal is to teach them how to hit forehands, backhands, volleys and serves, to advance them to the point of rallying and playing games.

Green (8-10 years) With the green ball moving at 75% of the speed of a full ball, it allows more time for the children to adjust and adapt with the flight of the ball.

Mini Green is played on a full court and is aimed at 8-10 year olds. We aim to provide players with the skills to play both singles and doubles with emphasis on the forehand, backhand, volley and the serve. There will be a focus on tactics, spin and match play strategy as well as positioning and shot placement.

Junior Tennis Programs  (Interclub Level) Yellow ball full performance tennis ball.

Your child is now able to show and have the ability to execute most tennis strokes, most importantly the serve.  These sessions are run in a squad format, with a unique learn-n-play game style of teaching, learning higher level tactical and technical skills to play both singles and doubles at a higher level. We look at controlling the ball as it will bounce higher and move faster giving the children less time to adjust and read the play. Your child will be introduced to a series of drills that will enhance their ability to play matches and encourage problem-solving skills to work out their opponent’s weaknesses and strengths.  Our coaches encourage and explain good tennis etiquette, and the emphasis of enjoying tennis and the importance of having fun on court.
